Designed to create practical additional space for a family with limited building area, this two storey studio takes advantage of its fortunate position alongside a greenbelt park in a centrally located neighbourhood.   

 

Practicality called for custom made storage spaces in the upstairs areas, and a loft study to make the most of the available space.

 

A handcrafted timber staircase connecting the two levels is the showpiece of this build.

 

Pitched roofing with corrugated iron cladding create a point of interest, and double glazed windows and sliding doors throughout were an important addition for the clients for both temperature and sound control.
